2. Bethenny Frankel

Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss was famous before she joined the cast. She gained her fame from being in the R&B singing group Xscape, as well as a songwriter and producer. Kandi has written hits for TLC, Destiny’s Child, Pink, Usher, Alicia Keys and Mariah Carey to name drop a bit. Since being added to the Housewives cast, she’s expanded her brand to include Kandi Koated Nights – her internet sex and relationship show – as well as her sex toy line, Bedroom Kandi. 4. Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi

She’s the producer and cast member of Vh1′s hit reality show Basketball Wives, she also produces Football Wives–which helped to spawn her production company, Amirah, Inc. Last night was another episode of “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” Yes, there were a lot of events that happened on this episode i.e. Kim and Kroy deciding whether to have their unborn son circumcised, Cynthia and Peter finally confronting Cynthia’s sister about her actions at their wedding, Nene confessing that she and Greg may have “rekindled” their old flame (if you know what I mean) and Sheree, Phaedra and Phaedra’s “big ol donky booty” (as she likes to call it) confronting the “construction” worker about not finishing Sheree’s house. Of all these events, I definitely think Kandi’s 35^th birthday party overshadowed everything in this episode.

First, lets talk about Lawrence’s outfit for the night. I wasn’t sure whether to applaud him for his originality and bravery or be afraid. But I will say that he definitely stole the attention when he walked in the room, and who doesn’t want to have a gay best friend at a birthday party? Work it!

Aside from Lawrence’s outfit, everything seemed to run smoothly until Nene walked into the party. Sheree and Phaedra were on one side of the room while Nene and Cynthia stayed on the other side with Kandi in the middle attempting to entertain both parties. Both groups kept going on and on about how they weren’t worried about what the other was doing and how they’re both so over the situation. And the drama continues…

After a lot of trash talking, drinks and laughs between the girls, it was time for the main event: Phaedra’s gift to Kandi or as Kandi called it, “The Infamous Ridickulous”

If you remember last season, Phaedra mentioned that she knew a male stripper that was rather “talented” and could actually pleasure himself. Well, in this episode, we finally got to see Ridickulous in action and I will admit, I was a little afraid and agreed with Lawrence when he said, “I’m not sure if that was a blessing or a curse!”

Phaedra’s birthday present definitely brought a lot of life and laughs to the party, but judging the reaction of Kandi’s mother, Nene and Cynthia, I couldn’t help but to think that having a male stripper whip out his “male parts”, twirl it around like a towel and then plop it in Kandi’s drink was a little gross and enough to make you want to vomit. Thank God for censors!

Asheley Jewell Released From Hospital

The AJC is reporting that Asheley Jewell has been discharged from Grady Memorial Hospital and is recuperating at home.

As we previously reported, the 15-year-old Stephenson High sophomore was shot in the head and critically wounded last March in an apparent road-rage incident on Old National Highway.

A $2,000 reward is being offered for information about Jewell’s shooting. Also, from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Jewell’s family and friends will be in the area around Old National Highway and Jerome Road handing out fliers seeking information. They’re calling it “Justice for Asheley Jewell Day.”

Asheley Jewell, the Stephenson High sophomore critically wounded in an apparent road-rage shooting, has begun speaking again, her family told the AJC on Tuesday.

Jewell, 15, remains at Grady Memorial Hospital.

At a candlelight vigil on Saturday, the family of Asheley Jewell called on the public for help in finding the person who shot the 15-year-old Stephenson High sophomore, the AJC reports.

Around 100 people attended a candlelight vigil and call to action Saturday evening to lend support to the family of Asheley Jewell, who as we previously reported was shot March 5 in an apparent road rage incident on Old National Highway. Jewell, a passenger in the car, remains in critical condition.

Supporters at the rally vowed to distribute fliers saying “Justice for Asheley Jewell” and “Who shot Asheley?”

Asheley Jewell remained in critical condition Friday, but her family says the 15-year-old is showing some progress, according to the AJC.com.

As we previously reported, the Stephenson High sophomore was shot in the head last Saturday night in an apparent road rage incident on Old National Highway. None of the other passengers or the driver were injured.

Jewell is the daughter of Kandi Burruss’ late fiance, A.J. Jewell, who died in 2009 after a fight outside the Body Tap strip club.

“She is still technically listed as critical, but she does seem to recognize her mom’s voice, and she makes attempts to follow simple commands they give her, like to squeeze their hands,” her cousin, Ebony Phillips, told the AJC. “She can’t really do it physically but there’s a cognitive foundation they might be able to build on.”

Friends and relatives will hold a candlelight vigil for Jewell on Saturday near the site of the shooting. The vigil starts at 7 p.m. at O’Reilly Auto Parts, 5549 Old National Highway in College Park.

The AJC is reporting that friends and relatives of Asheley Jewell, the 15-year-old critically wounded in an apparent road rage incident, will hold a candlelight vigil Saturday near the site of the shooting.

As we previously reported, Jewell was shot in the head on Saturday evening on Old National Highway.

Jewell, a Stephenson High School sophomore, is the daughter of Kandi Burruss’ late fiance, A.J. Jewell, who died in 2009 after a fight outside the Body Tap strip club.

Police have said that two cars were traveling on Old National Highway near Jerome Road when one started chasing the other. Shots were fired and Jewell, a passenger in the car being chased, was struck. No one else was hurt.

Jewell was rushed to Grady and underwent surgery. She remains clinging to life.

The candlelight vigil will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday at O’Reilly Auto Parts, 5549 Old National Highway in College Park.

Former member of Xscape and HelloBeautiful.com blogger, Kandi Buruss has recently candidly spoken about the groups breakup, as well as her past sexual relationship with producer Jermaine Dupri.

She says the reason Xscape broke up was because one of the other members wanted to go solo after the second album. Then Kandi admits to having crossed the line with Jermaine Dupri, and addresses the group member who put her on blast during a radio interview.

She then addresses crossing the line with Jermaine Dupri:

“But just like anybody, sometimes you can work with people and you be like, hmm I wonder how he is in the bedroom, you know, and you just try it out… we hung out, we was friends, like playing pool, talking trash and then you know you hear somebody say yeah I’m a beast, I’m this, I’m that, you know how you can be around your friends talking about sex or whatever and then you be thinking like, I wonder is it that good, you know? Let’s be realistic, it wasn’t me trying to get anything out of the situation. We already had hit records. We already had hits. It wasn’t like I was trying to do it to get somewhere. It was just out of curiosity.”

During the intervew, Kat gave us insight on what got her to where she is now and how she got all this Internet fame (it’s not rocket science….by sleeping with rappers!).

She had her first miscarriage at the age of 15 after being beaten by her boyfriend, which led her to start drinking. Now at the tender age of 20, she looks at men in a whole different light.
