Lil Wayne issued his first comments about his freedom, as he prepared to celebrate last night (November 7th) at a strip club in Miami, Florida.

The rap star walked into the King of Diamonds strip club along with Cash Money Records’ CEO Bryan “Birdman” Williams and two beauties dressed in masquerade costumes.

As Lil Wayne strolled the red carpet, he couldn’t find the words to explain how it felt to be free from New York’s Rikers Island, where he spent the past eight months on a gun charge.

“It’s unexplainable, and I’m good with words. I can’t explain it,” Lil Wayne told MTV News.

When quizzed by Sway about his time behind bars, the rapper simply replied: “I forgot about yesterday.”

Lil Wayne wasted no time getting his drank on and celebrating with label mates after his release from Rikers Island on Thursday (November 4). Over the weekend he attended several parties in Miami for his welcome home.

Wayne first hit up the “Welcome Home Tunechi” party and then went to King of Diamonds strip club afterward.

Wayne had a cigar in hand and ladies on his arm the whole night. Check out the pics below:

Lil Wayne was released from jail Thursday morning after serving eight months on New York City’s notorious Rikers Island, the New York Daily News reports.

But the rapper, whose real name is Dwayne Carter, isn’t completely free of legal troubles.

He has to make a pit stop in Arizona to sign paperwork stemming from a 2008 drug case, his lawyer James Tilson told XXLmag.com.

Wayne will then have to start a 36-month probation term. That unsupervised probation will be transferred to his adopted home state of Florida.

A big “Welcome Home, Weezy” bash already is planned when Weezy returns to Miami this weekend.

For fans eager to witness the first post-prison Weezy performance, they might not have to wait very long.

Wayne is also expected to jump onto the stage in Las Vegas, where his Young Money Entertainment protégé Drake is performing at the Hard Rock Hotel on Saturday night.

Drake hinted at the surprise in a recent interview.

“I would just advise you to book a ticket out there. If you can get tickets to that show on the 6th, I would strongly advise it,” Drake told MTV.

Weezy was locked up in Rikers on a gun possession charge.

Wayne spent a good portion of the past eight months writing letters to his fans that a blogger posted on his site, WeezyThanxYou.com, and he released a chart-topping album, “I Am Not a Human Being,” on his 28th birthday.

He did run into some trouble when Correction Department officers caught him with headphones and a charger for an MP3 player back in May.

As a result, he spent the last month of his sentence in Rikers Island’s version of solitary confinement. He was initially given a one-year sentence, but it was shortened for good behavior.

On Tuesday, Wayne took time to thank his supportive fans in a letter posted on his blog, and left them one final jail message.

“I vow to continue to be me. … I don’t have to change for no one but God,” he wrote. “I will be the same Martian I was when I left, just better.”

Another former United States President has issued his thoughts on a rap star, with the latest commentary coming from former Chief-of-Staff Bill Clinton, who spoke on Lil Wayne’s pending release from Riker’s Island this Thursday (November 4th).

Bill Clinton appeared on “The Morning Freak Show” yesterday (November 2nd) on 96.1 Kiss FM, to drum up support for Democratic candidates running in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

During the interview hosts Mikey and Big Bob asked Bill Clinton about his thoughts on Lil Wayne, who will be freed after eight months in prison, for carrying a loaded handgun on his tour bus in July of 2007.

“I tell you what I think about that. I know this is kinda a funny question for you to ask me. My daughter introduced me to rap and hip-hop music, after I said somethings she thought were not very smart. She said ‘dad you need to listen, a lot of these people are smart.’ This guy’s smart and he’s got ability and he’s got a new chance now,” President Clinton said.

“I hope is that this is not something just to brand him as a cool guy, but that it will never happen again to him,” Clinton said of Lil Wayne’s time spent behind bars.

If all goes according to plan, Lil Wayne will be freed from prison on Thursday.

Lil Wayne even has groupies in jail. A C.O has been suspended without pay after chilling in Li’ Wayne’s jail cell for 45 minutes.

Lil Wayne’s time in prison stemming from gun charges has been nothing less than eventful. Visits from Kanye West, Drake and Diddy have been well documented in the media. But it is the one visitor that you don’t know that deserves a SMH from TheBVX.

You would think that when a corrections officer visits a black man in jail, it would end up all bad for the prisoner. But in this case, the corrections officer wanted nothing more than to hang out with the self-proclaimed “Greatest Rapper Alive.” And his sneaky little visit will end up earning the officer a suspension without pay.

Captain Raphael Collazzo, a 20-year veteran, was spotted on security cameras spending 45 minutes in Weezy F. Baby’s isolation cell. Doing what you ask? We honestly don’t know. Maybe he was getting autographs for his kids. Perhaps they were trading war stories. Or he could have been trying to get an acapella preview of The Carter IV. Whatever the reason, he sure couldn’t explain what he was doing in that cell once caught and was slapped with a 10 day suspension.

Despite recently being put in solitary confinement, Lil Wayne managed to get a tweet out to his fans asking them not to send him anymore letters while he’s in prison.

We assume that since Weezy’s in solitary confinement and only allowed one phone call per week, that he’s probably not allowed to receive mail too (please correct us if we’re wrong!).

Weezy will be in solitary confinement for the rest of his sentence, which ends on November 4th.

Lil Wayne will serve the rest of his prison sentence at Rikers Island in solitary confinement.

Weezy, who was already in a private cell, was sent to solitary confinement after guards discovered several months ago that he was hiding a pair of headphones and a charger for an MP3 player in his cell. The actual MP3 player was hidden in another inmate’s cell.

Weezy will now be spending up to 23 hours of the day in his cell, and will only be allowed out for visits, religious services, and one hour of recreational time. His phone privileges have been reduced to only one personal call per week.

Lil Wayne is expected to be released from prison on November 5th.

Lil Wayne is allegedly getting preferential treatment in Rikers Island.

Sources tell the Village Voice that Weezy’s getting everything from take-out food to advanced notice as to when his jail cell is going to be searched.

We’re told that when guests visit Lil Wayne — whose real name is Dwayne Carter — they bypass the general visiting room where other inmates’ visitors wait. Wayne’s visitors are picked up by an official in a separate car, who drives them to the Eric M. Taylor Center, where he is serving an eight-month jail term in New York after admitting in October 2009 to having a loaded, .40-caliber semiautomatic weapon on his tour bus. Lil Wayne’s guests are driven back after the visit is up — which is usually longer than the one hour allowed for other inmates’ visitors.

Jail staffers also bring Lil Wayne food from the nearby Jackson Hole restaurant and local pizzeria, says our source. They are also said to tip him off so he knows when he is going to be searched.

Lil Wayne’s love of sports doesn’t stop at basketball and football.

The rapper is an avid tennis fan as well.

Sports Illustrated recently sent Weezy a letter asking the incarcerated rapper to weigh in on the upcoming US Open, and the rapper was surprisingly knowledgeable about the sport!

I genuinely appreciate this opportunity to express my love for tennis. One of the main reasons I enjoy the sport so much is because when I actually tried to play, it was unbelievably difficult. So ever since, I’ve been drawn to the great talents of the game. Not to mention Andre Agassi was like a pop star when I was a kid.

I love the Williams sisters. I simply adore Maria Sharadova and I’m a huge [Rafael] Nadal fan! I’m definitely rooting for him to get the Grand slam and win the US Open. He’s already became [sic] the 2nd youngest player to win 8 major titles before the age of 25. He’s halfway there to Roger [Federer's] 16. And even while battling knee tendonitis, he’s still ranked #1. His Wimbledon performance was one of a kind. He simply plays with pure passion and leaves it all out there on the court.

With [Juan Martín] Del Potro pulling out of this years Open with injury, Nadal’s only threats are obviously Federer, Djokovic, and Roddick’s aggressive play, but the player that scares me the most is Andy Murray who’s beaten Rafael four times. Even still I say “Nadal wins it all.”

And by the way, I’m giving the edge to [Kim] Clijsters in the Women’s singles due to Serena’s right foot. Again, I’m very thankful for this opportunity.

During a Ustream chat last night, Drake announced that he will be throwing a “welcome home” concert for Lil’ Wayne on November 5th, the day after the rapper is slated to be released from Rikers Island.

Drake didn’t reveal where the concert will be held, so stay tuned for that information.

However, Drake did reveal the title of his forthcoming R&B mix tape (It’s Never Enough), and that Bun B and possibly Wiz Khalifa will be joining him and the Clipse on his Lightdreams & Nightmares tour.
