Trey Songz went shirtless for VMAN Magazine’s Spring 2012 issue! The “Invented Sex” singer spoke with model, Selita Ebanks about growing up on welfare, his forthcoming album and “Angels With Hearts foundation!”

“I’ve grown from a young man to a man, I think a lot of people have been able to see that progression [in the music], as far as my fans are concerned, as far as consumers are concerned, and just the general public. so I’ve gone from “gotta Make it” to “top of the world.” I’ve gone from “I invented sex” to “sex ain’t better than love. (…) I think the new album will reflect very much where I’m going as a person and what I’ve been through. Music, for me, is very much an expression of how I felt at the time when that song was made. We’ll see how much I’ve grown and how much I’ve changed since that album’s dropped.”

Most fans would agree that “Anticipation” is one of Trey Songz best mixtapes. He recently released “Anticipation 2,” the predecessor to the successful project and announced several tour dates to promote it and his new album Chapter V. Preliminary dates include stops in California and Chicago.

After watching a woman undress for him, the two tumble and tussle around in bed. See it below!

He told Uptown:

“Outside of Evolution, I’ve been the face [of Rocawear] for a while now. It all spawned from going on tour with Jay-Z – the Blueprint 3 tour last January. And you know we had a conversation about the clothing company. The fragrance was always in the industry talks. And it’s finally come to life now, after sending samples back and talking about it. It’s truly something that I represent so that makes it much more organic and a seamless transition for me than just taking pictures and then walking away from a shoot and spraying something else on [laughs].”
