What, you weren’t impressed by Jennifer Lopez’s slick dance move – the one where she landed on her derriere?

J.Lo told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show Monday that her little spill at Sunday night’s American Music Awards was highly choreographed.

“Did I trip a little bit?” she responded during a post-AMAs interview with the “American Idol” host on Monday. “Yeah, I meant to do that. That was part of the choreography,” she joked.

You’d have to give props to Lopez if it was in fact part of the plan. It certainly got people’s attention.

For anyone just tuning in now, Lopez ascended the backs of her back-up dancers during her performance of her new song “Louboutins,” only to leap off the last rung in her human staircase and land on her famous tush.

While she later implied to Seacrest that the fall was not in fact intentional, she still gracefully brushed off the less than graceful incident.

“The measure of things isn’t what happens when you fall, it’s how you recover when you fall,” she said.

Furthermore, any minor embarrassment resulting from her little slip pales in comparison to the thrill of performing again.

“It was fun, it was really fun,” she said of her return to live performance. “It was nice to be back on stage and doing my thing.”
