We are a proud grass roots organization serving South Fulton and the Atlanta Metro Area since 2005. Because I Said So, Inc. primarily serves at-risk youth and single parent households who are looking for a hand up and not a hand out. Since 2005 we have served over 500 students through our direct workshop and partnerships with various schools. Our goal is to take them out of their current environment and expose them to something they would not have ordinarily experienced.
Our programs are free and open to girls ages 12–19. We believe every child deserves a chance to succeed and live out their purpose even at an early age. Each person that attends our workshops will walk away knowing that they are relevant and that their voice matters. Our mission has always been to provide life skills that teens can use in their everyday life.
In our immediate future, we would like to offer scholarships to those graduating seniors. We want to continue to enrich our students so that they can walk into their destiny and fulfill their God given purpose in life.
