Lil Scrappy is once again a free man after being in jail for a couple of days. On Monday, October 1st, Scrappy was arrested in Atlanta over a parole violation.
A warrant was issued for the Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star’s arrest after he missed a meeting with his parole officer a month ago. According to TMZ, Scrappy insists that he only missed the meeting because of a misunderstanding.
Scrappy’s attorney, Mawuli Mel Davis tells us the judge has put Scrappy back on probation — the kind where he is required to frequently check in with his probation officer. He had previously been on a “non-reporting” probation.
As we first reported, Scrappy was arrested yesterday for failing to check in with his probation officer last month. Scrappy also allegedly failed to tell his P.O. that he changed addresses.
“Lil Scrappy is OK, we’re working to get him out asap. Please keep him in your prayers. (Management) #FreeLilScrappy,” was a message tweeted from Scrappy official Twitter on the day he was arrested.
