Nicki Minaj’s new video for “The Boys,” which will appear on her upcoming Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded – The Re-Up, has all the standard trappings of a Nicki video — pink, neon and more neon — plus some extra eye candy, courtesy of Cassie.
The Colin Tilley-directed clip begins with a close-up shot of a newspaper headline, which reads, “Barber shop burns down after ‘freak’ flame thrower accident,” then cuts to Nicki casually crashing her pink car without blinking an eye, immediately implicating her as the culprit.
From here we get plenty of gratuitous shots of the two as they go through several costume changes — including very revealing swimsuits — but Cassie’s transformation into a man, sporting a dark blue suit with cropped neon hair, is our favorite look.
