Police have yet to identify the man shot and killed on Interstate 20 west in DeKalb County yesterday, but reports have surfaced that the victim may be rapper/music executive Freeband Double D.

The man killed was driving a Maybach and shot during rush hour near Glenwood Avenue. According to the AJC, witnesses said they saw a white SUV fire several shots into the Maybach. An off-duty Atlanta firefighter pulled over after seeing the vehicle riddled with bullets and found a man inside shot multiple times.
He was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital in critical condition, but later died. Several lanes of I-20 were shut down as police investigated the shooting.
The Mayback cost $400,000 and was one of only 3,000 to have have been sold, although its unclear at this if the luxury car played any role in the killing.
