Funeral services are set for this week in Atlanta for Kris Kross rapper Chris Kelly (Mac Daddy), who passed away last Wednesday from a suspected drug overdose.
Murray Brothers Funeral Home in Southwest Atlanta confirmed to the AJC that it will hold a public viewing for Kelly throughout the afternoon and evening Wednesday (May 8). Kelly’s funeral service has been scheduled for Thursday (May 9) at Jackson Memorial Baptist Church in Atlanta.
Kelly was 34 at the time of his death. His mother told Fulton County police her son had become ill and felt nauseous after using cocaine and heroin the night before he died.
