Sean Kingston is at the center of a gang rape lawsuit filed by a girl named Carissa Capeloto.
According to TMZ, the 22-year-old claims she was forced to have sex with the singer, his bodyguard and band member after a Justin Bieber concert, where Kindson also performed at in July 2010.
In the suit, Capeloto says the incident took place after she smoked weed and drank 7-10 vodka shots with the crew in a nearby hotel room.
Capeloto claims the bodyguard picked her up and placed her on top of Kingston, and all three of the men proceeded to gang rape her while she was “obviously intoxicated, incapable of consent.”
Capeloto says her friend later entered the room and rescued her. The police were called and Capeloto was taken to the hospital where she says she was treated for physical injuries consistent with rape.
Kingston, however, does not deny engaging in sexual activity with Capeloto. He filed legal documents stating that the intercourse was consensual.
TMZ reports, criminal charges against the singer, related to the same incident, were dropped in 2010 after authorities concluded the victim “wasn’t credible enough for a legit case.”
The woman — who says she’s experiencing mood swings, panic attacks and sleep loss over the rape — is suing for a minimum of $5 million.
