Listeria, caused by L. monocytogenes bacteria, causes fever and chills, headache, upset stomach and vomiting, according to the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH). It is most likely to affect pregnant women and unborn babies, older adults, and people with weakened immune systems.

Wawona said internal testing discovered traces of the virulent bacteria, but no illnesses have been reported.
