This one was big. The Cavaliers’ Game 2 win had many believing that they merely avoided getting swept. LeBron James had another lore-worthy performance, but the Cavs barely won despite Steph Curry‘s awful game.
Steph Curry scored a 17-point fourth quarter in a 27-point performance. But the Cavs survived. They won Game 3, in regulation, 96-91. We have a series.
LeBron James had another highlight reel performance, finishing with 40 points, 12 rebounds, and eight assists (in 46 minutes of floor time).
But the hero of the game is Matthew Dellavedova, who played his heart out. He was on D giving Curry headaches the and hustling and diving for balls the entire game. Delly finished with 20 points and the adoration of an entire fan base.
Now, to the surprise of almost everybody, the Warriors are on the ropes. Game 4 commences on Thursday.
