Ja Rule took to his Twitter account yesterday (September 2) to call out Wikipedia for getting his height wrong by three inches.
“Wikipedia is the most inaccurate shit ever lol how are they still in business??? Anyway somebody fix my shit I’m 5’9 not 5’6…,” Ja Rule tweeted.
However, the Queens, New York rapper doesn’t appear to know how Wikipedia works. According to the site’s “About” page, the content is “written collaboratively by largely anonymous volunteers who write without pay.” It also states that “anyone with Internet access can write and make changes to Wikipedia articles,” meaning, in theory, Ja Rule could change it himself.
The “Always On Time” rapper, who recently revisited his decade-old rivalry with 50 Cent, was quick to find humor in the subject though. He suggested bringing back platform shoes and even shared his mugshot from his time at Mid-State Correctional Facility that shows him standing at 5’9.
