Last week, we reported that Empire‘s Serayah was dating Maybach Music’s Wale. And while we do think they’d make a great couple, it turns out the wrestling fan rapper and Hakeem’s original joint are not dating.
According to Serayah’s publicist, “They are not in a relationship and are not dating. They are just friends.”
No heart eyes for the musical pals. Serayah is hard at work on her untitled EP and while she’s friends with Wale, the two have not gotten to the studio to do a song together yet.
We think Serayah should think about it though, since Wale has one of the best ears in the business. Just ask Miguel.
