Hosea Helps may have to close soon. Hosea Helps has reached out to help the poor and needy for 45 years. The owners of the building Hosea Helps leases in South Atlanta has doubled the rent to $ 8,000 a moth. CEO, Elizabeth Omilami says, ” They may be forced out by July 1.” Hosea Helps has started a go fund me page accepting donations.
I-85 opens Monday

Governor Deal says the I-85 restoration is almost complete. GDOT plans to have 85 north bound open by Saturday and Southbound lanes open by Sunday, so between now and then crews will still have to install expansion joints and then clean up.
