Gas prices are falling

AAA says we are seeing the cheapest gas prices for the start of a summer in 12 years.  In the metro area the average prices for a gallon of gasoline is $ 2.16.  Low prices are one reason AAA says about 3% more people will travel mostly by car 4th of July weekend.

Forecasters say we could get an additional 2 inches of rain.  All of the metro area will fall under a Flash Flood watch starting at 2 p.m.  So watch out for ponding on roads, flooding in poor drainage areas and along creeks and streams.


Senate Republican Healthcare Bill

Four conservative senators have vowed to fight against the Senate Republican Healthcare Bill.  The new Republican bill makes deep cuts to Medicaid and protects preexisting conditions.
