Hedera runs on Hashgraph technology which was created by genius engineer Leemon Baird.

Baird was once the fastest graduate of Carnegie Melon’s prestigious program and he went on to do work for the U.S. military.

After learning about Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, Baird was inspired by the idea of public ledgers and set out to create a more elegant one.

Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are rapidly changing how the world understands the limits of money and technology, but Hedera claims to have a better formula.

When Hashgraph was first announced in 2017, it was dubbed a the “blockchain killer.”

While blockchain-based ledgers like Bitcoin require expensive equipment, deep knowledge of coding and time-intensive work to operate, Hedera Hashgraph offers a platform that sounds almost too good to be true.
