The Atlanta Hawks defeated the Washington Wizards friday night 100-89 for their second win in a row. Friday night’s balanced scoring effort was an added bonus to a strong defensive effort against a Wizards team that many thought would beat the Hawks. The Hawks outrebounded the Wizards 47-40, scored 18 points off of turnovers and racked up seven blocked shots. Horford finished with a game-high 12 rebounds while Smith led the Hawks in scoring with 20 points on 8-for-11 shooting from the floor. The Hawks will be in L.A. Sunday to take on the Lakers. Lets go Hawks!!
