While other artists are concerned with bringing up pop tracks Lloyd is sticking to his roots and delivering heart-felt R&B. Check out the ATL artist's latest video, "Lay It Down."

Atlanta singer Lloyd Polite(yes that's his last name) is back in the news for his recent apology to Ciara, on Twitter (of course). Click here to see what he said!

We told you yesterday about Lloyd weighing in on Chris Brown breaking down on stage during the Michael Jackson tribute performance at the 201 BET Awards, where he stated he told Chris to "cry." But when everyone on the net started going in on the Atlanta singer, he changed his tune.

We had a feeling there was more to this story. While fans have been going back and forth about whether Chris Brown’s tears were heartfelt or just a publicity stunt, Atlanta R&B singer Lloyd says he told the controversial singer that he had "to really show his heart out to the world" and "cry."

Remember when Lloyd called Ciara out for going “Hollywood?” Well Ciara recently sat down with Sirius XM radio to promote her upcoming projects. While there, she hit up Angela Yee’s “The Morning After” and responded to claims that she has turned “Hollywood.”

Mystikal is back at work in this new video from Lloyd who tapped the recently released rapper for his new single, the aptly titled "Set Me Free." Peep the video here!

On Tuesday night, Drake headlined BMI's 13th Annual Unsigned Urban Showcase at Atlanta's Havana Club. Travis Porter also performed. Click here to see who else was in the house.

After serving six years in jail, Mystikal has released his first verse since leaving the Louisiana State Prison system. R&B singer Lloyd features Mystikal on the appropriately titled song "Set Me Free" that's featured on DJ Smallz's "Follow Me R&B (Part 2)" Mixtape. Check it out here!

Between releasing a new EP which features the likes of Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj, touring over in Europe, and making the ladies bed’s rock, Lloyd is definitely making a big splash in the music industry. The Decatur-based singer is not only crooning for the ladies, but he is also making club smashes like his latest single “Pusha” with Lil Wayne.
