According to MTV.com, pending "good behavior" Lil Wayne will be released early from prison. Weezy was sentenced to one year in prison on March 8, 2009 for pleading guilty to criminal possession of an illegal firearm.

Lil Wayne isn't going to let a little thing like being in prison keep him from releasing new music. On September 27th, the incarcerated rapper will drop "I'm Not A Human Being," an EP that will serve as a prelude to the rapper's upcoming album, "The Carter IV."
