Months ago, Lil Wayne expressed his hope that he'd be able to keep up with sports while serving his year long prison sentence at New York City's Rikers Island. Apparently, the wish of Birdman Jr. — who actually has a tattoo of the ESPN logo — has been fulfilled.

In his first post-prison interview, T.I. reveals that he didn't write too much during his prison bid and that his next album will be more "aggressive." His new album is scheduled to drop on August 24th. Peep the interview here!

T.I. will officially complete his prison sentence today, March 26th. The Atlanta rapper is in the final hours of his sentence of a year and a day in prison. At the end of the day Friday, he begins three years on probation for a federal conviction of possession of silencers, machine guns and other weapons.

Lil Wayne has been barred from signing autographs while serving his one-year bid in Rikers Island. TMZ reports that Weezy's been told that he's not allowed to sign a single autograph because, as one Rikers official said, "Lil Wayne is not a celebrity in here."

T.I.'s lawyer recently confirmed that the rapper, who is finishing up his sentence on felony weapons charges, will complete his jail sentence on March 26th.

Ja Rule could spend three years in prison due to a 2007 gun possession charge in Manhattan. According to the New York Post, Ja Rule lost his bid to have the case tossed this morning (January 20) in Manhattan Supreme Court. The gun case stems from Ja's arrest on the same night Lil Wayne was busted for gun possession outside a concert venue where the two had just performed.
