Weeks after reporting that no illegal drugs were found in Whitney Houston’s hotel room, sources are now reporting that authorities did in fact recover cocaine in the room where the singer died, TMZ reports.
Official documents show one of the items police recovered was “white, powdery remnants” which was tested and found to be cocaine.
Yesterday RadarOnline reported that police wanted to talk to Houston’s “associate” Raffles Van Exel after he made claims he cleared the singer’s hotel room before police arrived to the death scene. But now that’s apparently on hold because they’re convinced it wasn’t removed.
Cocaine was listed as a contributory factor in 48-year-old Houston’s February 11th death.
