Melle Mel & The Roots Perform At Late Night With Jimmy Fallon [VIDEO]

Sometimes it’s hard to believe a comedian like Jimmy Fallon is so in tune with true Hip Hop music. In a special performance not seen on air, Grandmaster Melle Mel warmed up the crowd at Rockefeller Center. Off the air on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, the legendary MC joined The  Roots to perform the classic record “The Message.” For you young bucks out there Puff Daddy and Mase did not originate the song on “Can’t Nobody Hold Me Down”.
