Kanye West Will Not Be Charged After Assaulting A Photographer

Kanye West allegedly assaulted a photographer in the UK. Apparently, that same photographer has had numerous run ins with celebrities and claims a British soccer player once assaulted him as well. West was arrested at a hotel after allegedly getting into the fight. After a short investigation, he was released from custody with no charges. TMZ spoke with the photographer who confirmed that Kanye “smashed his face in” at 2am after being caught leaving a night club with 4 women and did not want to be caught.

Sponsor Shut Down Chris Brown

According to Rhymes with Snitch, after Chris Brown was added to the Energy Rush concert line-up, one of the main sponsors of the event, Rogers communications, decided to pull their sponsorship.

A spokesman for Rogers told E! news, “Rogers has been a sponsor of the Energy Rush concert series for the last seven years… Our agreement to continue sponsorship of the series was made before Chris Brown’s appearance was announced. However, as soon as he was confirmed as one of eight performers, we decided to withdraw our sponsorship at this time. We have shared a great partnership with the local radio station for the last seven years and we appreciate their understanding of our decision.”

However, Chris Brown’s reps were outraged and offended and responded, “It’s a shame that some people are so short-sighted and uninformed. Chris is an award-winning artist whose goal is to inspire and entertain. He engages in many philanthropic endeavors to support his community and communities worldwide…Chris strives to learn from his past and to grow as a person, as we should all do. Chris is looking forward to being a part of the Energy Rush Concert Series.”
