As Air Force One lifted off Sunday night, President Obama and his family left behind a 77-degree Hawaiian evening for Washington, D.C., where the temperature was a brisk 23 degrees. If a 54-degree climate swing were not reason enough to lament the end of vacation, President Obama certainly had others.

The couple have reportedly had their eye on a multi-million dollar 3-bedroom penthouse in New York which they've toured four times. Kasim Reed became Atlanta's mayor today at a ceremony at the Atlanta Civic Center. Georgia Supreme Court Chief Justice Carol W. Hunstein conducted the swearing-in at the event that began with a song from the Howard University choir, Reed's alma mater.
