This is a major election year! Georgia could get a new governor, and new lawmakers who could actually make changes about issues that matter – like health care, jobs and the Stand Your Ground law!

Several important races are on the ballot including the Governor, U.S. Senator, U.S. Reps, Secretary of State, State Superintendent, all 56 State Senators and all 180 State Reps.

Even though the general election is in November, you need to make sure your chosen candidates make it through the primary election! This year, the primary has been moved up to May 20th. Mark that down – May 20th! And you can vote before that in the early voting process, which is April 28th through May 16th.

Each county is different, so CLICK HERE to find out information on where and when you vote.

Remember, if you want to make things better, you have to vote!
