Most would think the likely pairing of Alicia Keys and Jennifer Hudson would be for a song. However, these ladies will instead work together on a film titled: “The Inevitable Defeat of Mister And Pete.” Jennfier Hudson joins actors Jeffrey Wright and Anthony Mackie and singer-turned-actress Jordin Sparks with filming set to begin in Brooklyn this week.
Hudson reflects on the new role saying:
“It’s gonna be challenging, and I’m a little bit intimidated to play this big Broadway star, but it’s gonna be a great experience. I can’t wait to get started.”
