Last night comedian Craig Robinson ("Hot Tub Time Machine," "Pineapple Express") appeared on the Jimmy Fallon show to plug "The Last Comic Standing." He also talked about hosting VH1's Hip-Hop Honors Dirty South and his days as a music teacher in Chicago for K thru 8th graders.

At last night's VH1 Hip-Hop Honors to the "Dirty South", Organized Noize, Jermaine Dupri, Timbaland, Uncle Luke, Master P and J Prince were treated with tribute performances. In addition to the individual accolades the program was broken down into regional honors as well, with performances paying homage to Atlanta, Miami and Texas.

The VH1 Hip Hop Honors taping went down last night! As we previously reported, this year's show honors the contributions of the Dirty South.

With pointed criticism of their product from southern Hip-Hop legends Scarface and Luke, VH1 Honors executive producers Nelson George and Fab Five Freddy are defending this year’s selections and criteria.
