Lil Wayne Sentencing Postponed Due To Dental Surgery
Lil Wayne’s sentencing has been delayed until March 2 due to dental surgery, his attorney announced in a Manhattan courtroom today. The rapper was scheduled to be formally sentenced by a judge and begin serving his one-year term stemming from a 2007 arrest that resulted in a guilty plea in October for attempted weapons possession.

Ja Rule could spend three years in prison due to a 2007 gun possession charge in Manhattan. According to the New York Post, Ja Rule lost his bid to have the case tossed this morning (January 20) in Manhattan Supreme Court. The gun case stems from Ja’s arrest on the same night Lil Wayne was busted for gun possession outside a concert venue where the two had just performed.
