The ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., Tau Epsilon Omega Chapter hosted their 3rd Annual National HIV & AIDS Awareness Day at Greenbriar Mall on Saturday February 5, 2011. The event kicked off National HIV Awareness week and featured speakers from Fulton County Dept. of Health, AIDS Atlanta and Grady Hospital. Additional Chapters of Alpha Phi Alpha, Kappa Alpha Psi, Omega Phi Psi, Phi Beta Sigma, Delta Sigma Theta, Zeta Phi Beta, Sigma Gamma Row, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Fraternity/Sorority(s) participated as vendors. Radio One Atlanta held a drawing for a pair of Alvin Alley Tickets along with games and a prize wheel where lucky listeners won tickets to Brokeology Stage Play. The Higher Calling Baptist Church Choir adorned the crowd with soulful spirituals, the Showtime Steppers and the Dancing Dolls got the crowd pumped with their precision dance routines.
