Brick Squad-affiliated rapper Slim Dunkin was shot and killed Friday evening as he prepared to record a music video. The shooting happened at a recording studio along Memorial drive in southeast Atlanta.

Slim Dunkin (real name Mario Hamilton) was reportedly shot in the chest after he got in an argument with another individual who pulled a gun. Slim was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The shooter remains at large as police continue their investigation.

Slim Dunkin has recorded with Waka Flocka Flame, Gucci Mane, Roscoe Dash and others.
