Despite his declarations of the contrary, Lil Wayne is indeed a human being. The Young Money general’s private jet was forced to make an emergency landing in Texas after Weezy had a medical emergency mid-flight.
According to reports, once the jet had safely landed, Wayne was rushed to a local hospital. Wayne was at the hospital for several hours while he received medical treatment. He checked himself out of the hospital around 6pm last night.

Details surrounding Lil Wayne’s hospitalization are scarce. It’s still unclear if doctors were able to diagnose whatever was ailing the Grammy winner. however, we can tell you sources close to Wayne’s camp say he’s”doing better.”
Though the official cause of Weezy’s medical emergency has yet to be revealed, many are speculating Weezy’s seizure-like symptoms are a result of his overindulgence of drugs. However, that’s only specualtion because Wayne is still on probation stemming from his time spent in prison on a gun charge.

UPDATE: According to a statement Lil Wayne’s reps released to MTV, Weezy did not have a seizure. He received treatment for a severe migraine and dehydration. “Lil Wayne was successfully released from the hospital after being treated for a severe migraine and dehydration. “He is at home on doctor-mandated rest and will return to work soon. He appreciates all of his fans for their support and love.”
