Positive American Youth, Reec of Hot 107.9FM & Morgan & Morgan truly were “For The People” of the Bankhead Community and the Mableton area. This beautiful Sunday afternoon was highlighted by a distribution of thousands of pounds of free grocery items to families in need. The event was an extension of Positive American Youth’s (www.PayUsa.org) program titled “Thanksgiving Thursday”. This program is promoted each week by Atlanta media legend Carol Blackmon of Majic 107.5/97.5.
This weeks distribution was sponsored by Morgan &Morgan Law (www.ForThePeople.com/Atlanta). Hundreds stopped to receive bags stuffed with grocery items, books, and children’s toys. Other supporters include Feed The Children, Big Lots, Dollar General, ECS-Financial, and UAF.
