The release of NBA 2K14, 2K Sports released a video interview with Jordan, who is now making his fourth straight appearance in the game.

In the video, Jordan produced more than a few buzzworthy sound bites, including claiming that in his prime he could have beaten the likes of Jerry West, Elgin Baylor and LeBron James in games of 1-on-1.  Now he could have just ended it there and we would have had a nice but ultimately uninteresting interview, but in the middle of the clip, he recalls this story of a young OJ Mayo trying to talk trash to him during a pickup game at his camp in UC Santa Barbara back in 2006.  Because Mayo talked so much trash, Jordan does what he always does whenever he felt slighted and that’s destroy the competition both real and imagined.  But this time it was very real, as Mayo learned the hard way.
