Well that was awkward.
As a Jay Z fan, it was incredibly hard to watch him, a man we know to be so suave, fumble over his own lyrics during “No Church In The Wild” on the Manchester, England stop of his “Magna Carta” tour. Hov stumbled over the line “Cocaine seats, all white like I got everything bleached,” on the Kanye West, Frank Ocean assisted song.
Hov diverted attention by throwing to the audience but it was clear he was off his game. Since it was the beginning of the tour, and few concerts go without a hitch, we’ll give him the benefit of the doubt and pray the next show is better.
