Sometimes the stars align just right and the results are special as in this case. Serving as and inspiration and downright hero for Pharrell, Spike Lee finally got the chance to meet one of hip-hop’s new legends. Meeting for the very first time, the two bonded over their love of art, film, and Black culture. For over 30 minutes, the two icons chatted about Spike’s evolution in movie making.
