According to The Baltimore Sun, “The Howard County Fire Department is reporting an active shooter situation at the Mall in Columbia. Both the Howard County police and fire departments are on the scene and are advising people to stay away from the area.
The Howard County Police confirmed that they were responding to a shooting at the mall, but couldn’t confirm whether anyone had been injured.
Customers inside the mall are reporting that several stores have been shut down and they are being sent to the AMC Theater.
No further details are being given at this time. If you are in the vicinity STAY AWAY from the area.
