Kenya Moore Was Not Wrong For Standing Up To Christopher Williams
We Can All Stop Blaming Kenya Moore For The ‘RHOA’ Brawl When She Wasn’t Wrong

When did it become acceptable for a man to address a woman in such a disrespectful manner as Christopher Williams did Kenya Moore on the latest episode of “Real Housewives Of Atlanta” and the woman be blamed?
A brawl, instigated by none other than NeNe Leakes, ensued on “RHOA” after cast hopeful Christopher and wife Natalie confronted Kenya Moore about comments she made during a visit to the winery on the prior episode. Kenya was calmly seated beside her assistant Brandon who bravely defended her when Christopher grabbed her arm. According to NeNe, Kenya charged at Christopher’s wife so he stepped into to restrain her (as if that justifies him putting his hands on her), but after analyzing the clips of Peter and Apollo shoving Brandon onto his back, we beg to differ. NeNe’s main argument after the fight was that Kenya got out of her seat as if she should have stayed there like a dormant puppy because she was being addressed be a (z-list) male celeb like Christopher. No and no. As Kenya stated in her confessional, she is no punk nor should she bow to the feet of a man because he has an issue claiming his wife.
It is clear that the entire situation could have been avoided and yes, Brandon turnt up faster than Rihanna at the strip club but how does that place the blame on Kenya when he was simply defending himself and her? If anything, he is a hero.
I fail to believe that she was storming passed Christopher to slug his wife. Let’s be real here, the ladies of “RHOA” don’t throw punches, they throw shade. Kenya was going to address the room and Christopher on her feet like Christopher had tried and failed.
Kenya released her own response to the mayhem that she is being ultimately blamed for. But what about Apollo? Who took the hostile situation to physical when he jumped on Brandon for no apparent reason.
“Natalie began egging Chris on, prompting him to stand up to address me directly and that was acceptable to NeNe. However, when I stood up and slowly walked across the room to address Natalie, NeNe had a big problem with it. When Christopher grabbed my arm, I was outraged. Brandon did exactly what he was supposed to do and that is to protect me. NO MAN SHOULD EVER PUT HIS HANDS ON A WOMAN,” she wrote on her Bravo blog.
Peter later said, Apollo was hit in the squabble but frankly, it looked like he just couldn’t stand by without getting in on the action. Instead of defending the female in the room, they attacked the gay guy who we must say held his own and was more manly than all of the men put together. Because Gregg and Todd stood in the clear and Chuck hid behind his wife.
“Imagine if a man grabbed the arm of one of their women. It would have been a massive problem. Sadly, the women should have rallied by my side to support me. Due to their own insecurities or alliances, they chose not to,” she continued and we agree.
Furthermore, Kenya sums up our feelings in the last paragraph of her post. “There is no alternate universe that would hold me accountable for Apollo assaulting Brandon.”
If Natalie had a problem, she should have taken it up with Kenya and then with her husband, but then again #RHOA wouldn’t be in its sixth season if everyone made rational decisions.
