Underground Atlanta Has A New Owner

Mayor Kasim Reed announced the sale of the historic Underground Mall to T. Scott Smith, President and CEO of WRS inc., for $25.75 Million. The underground has been a long time tourist attraction since the 1960’s, recently however, the mall has seen many shops and businesses close down.
The new owner plans to revamp The Underground in 2015 and create new shops, grocery stores, and residential living areas.
