Fire Station No. 16 located on Marietta Street will now be the 14th smokehouse of a Florida-based BBQ joint.
4 Rivers Smokehouse has plans to renovate the historic firehouse which was in service from 1915 to 1963. This will be the restaurant’s first location outside of Florida. Acknowledged as a Georgia’s Historical Society collection, the fire station is next door to Thumbs Up Diner, near Georgia Tech.
The new restaurant is expected to open late 2017. Check out the upcoming renovations below.
