2016 was a great year for women in music.

Earlier today BET announced their 2017 Best Female Hip-Hop Artist Award nominees which included Cardi B, Missy Elliott, Nicki Minaj, Remy Ma, and Young M.A.

While the list may seem accurate, Chicago rapper, Dreezy took offense to not being nominated after a successful 2016 including the release of her debut album, No Hard Feelings which went platinum and appearing on 3 major tours.
