While most independent artists are grinding hard to obtain label deals, 808 Mafia CEO & producer, Southside recently called out Interscope Records for taking a deal away from him after deeming him as too dangerous.
Southside also encouraged other artists and producers not to sign their lives away to record labels and detailed plans for releasing a joint 808 Mafia Label album with TM88 set to be titled, Fuck The Label VOL. 1.
The artist that Southside was referring to in the video is Atlanta rapper, Chip and he gave his side of the story earlier on Instagram.
