Love and Hip Hop New York star Cardi B may be one of the few artist that have made a buzz outside of the show in the music business. Belcalis Almanzar hit the scene in 2015 and took off becoming a fast fan favorite on social media. Recognizing her opportunity Cardi took a chance releasing her mix-tape Gangsta B**** Music Vol 1. The first single “Cheap A** Weave” did really well in the streets and is actually still buzzing around her way in New York. A recent article released by Billboard compared Cardi to the likes of Lil Kim and Foxy Brown. Not sure if I would take it that far but I definitely think she has potential to be a good artist with time…
