ATL rapper Yung Joc is denying allegations that he played a role in the robbery of his own studio.

As we previously reported, Joc’s northwest Atlanta recording studio was robbed earlier this month. Joc’s brother and his brother’s girlfriend were in the studio at the time of the robbery and were bound with duct tape and forced into a bathroom while the thieves robbed the studio of over $70,000 of equipment.

In an interview with WSB-TV, Joc denied rumors that he played a role in the robbery in order to collect insurance. Joc stated that he was actually in the process of choosing an insurance provider at the time of the robbery. He also said he lost songs that he had recorded with artists like Lil Wayne, Jazmine Sullivan and Pitbull.
