In today’s WTF news, Wyclef Jean has been tapped to perform at the Republican National Convention next week.
Despite being an Obama supporter in 2008, the rapper turned songwriter and producer will headline the RNC’s Got Your 6 event. Wyclef Jean stepped up to perform at the event after country music singers Willie Nelson and Randy Travis each had to bow out of the performance.
The performance will take place in Tampa, Florida on August 29th. The event will be hosted by John McCain’s daughter, Meghan McCain and her mother, Cindy.
