And just like that, Frank Ocean turned the other cheek on Chris Brown. Last weekend, the 23-year-old singer and Chris Brown were involved in a physical altercation at a West Hollywood recording studio. The fight resulted in the police being called, Chris walking around with a cast around his hand and Ocean alleging that he was jumped by C-Breezy’s crew. While none of us was there (nor any video footage captured), Frank has spoken out, saying that he has moved on and does not want to press charges.
On his tumblr, he wrote:
AS A CHILD I THOUGHT IF SOMEONE JUMPED ME IT WOULD RESULT IN ME MURDERING OR MUTILATING A MAN.
BUT AS A MAN I AM NOT A KILLER. I’M AN ARTIST AND A MODERN PERSON. I’LL CHOOSE SANITY. NO CRIMINAL
