According to TMZ, Raz was on performing when a fight broke out in the audience. He decided to try to break it up and was hit with a bottle! To add insult to injury, Raz was hauled to jail with the perpetrators until Chinese police deemed that he had nothing to do with the altercation. The obvious damage cost Raz $5,000 in medical expenses.
Porn Star Found Dead
Popular Black porn star Alicia Tyler, who has acted in scenes with Mr. Marcus and more, was found dead by her mother in their home. According to MTO, Tyler–real name Danielle Porter–may have died from asthma complications while some alleged it was drug related.
“I spoke to [Alicia’s] manager Trevor yesterday and he told me that her mom found her unresponsive,” said industry friend, Sexy India to AVN yesterday. She also made it clear of possible causes, citing the manager “mentioned her [Alicia] having stomach issues and asthma,” reports CKHid.
Alicia was making a comeback to the industry, post giving birth to her daughter. RIP.
Robin Thicke Files Suit Against Marvin Gaye Estate
Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” is officially the song of the summer, however, it brings comparisons to Marvin Gaye’s “Got To Give It Up,” and if I may say so myself, the tracks do sound alike. Gaye’s family and Funkadelic, who own the rights to Gaye’s “Got To Give It Up,” feel it is too similar. Thicke isn’t leaving any business lines blurred, he, Pharrell Williams and T.I., filed a lawsuit against Gaye’s family and Bridgeport Music, reports THR.
The group of distinguished men filed the action “reluctantly.” They have “the utmost respect for and admiration of Marvin Gaye, Funkadelic and their musical legacies.” They contend “there are no similarities between plaintiffs’ composition and those the claimants allege they own, other than commonplace musical elements,” states the lawsuit. “Plaintiffs created a hit and did it without copying anyone else’s composition.”
Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa married in a private ceremony in July, but the love birds will head down the aisle again in Pittsburgh this weekend for all their friends and family to see.
