RaVaughn Drops Visuals For ‘Best Friend’

Ne-Yo’s protégé RaVaughn looks stunning in her new video for “Best Friend,” that record that we all can relate to!

The beautiful and incredibly talented songstress tells the story of a girl trapped in the friend zone in the balled, lifted from from her forthcoming album Love Always.

“I’ve been sitting on this bench for too long while you playing with these basic fake chicks,” she sings to her green-eyed love interest, played by Sony songwriter/actor Justin Walker. (You may remember him from BET’s reality series “Baldwin Hills.”)

‘American Idol’ Winner Candice Glover’s Album Delayed By 4 Months

Candice Glover fans will have to wait longer than expected for her first studio album.

According to Billboard, the “American Idol” season 12 winner’s debut project has been pushed from Oct. 8 to Feb. 18.

“I know it’s taking a bit longer than expected to get my album out, but I have been working hard in the studio with some amazing people,” the singer said in a statement. “I want to get it just right for you guys!”

Sources say the 23-year-old has been working with producer Harvey Mason Jr., best known for his work with Beyoncé, Chris Brown and Justin Timberlake.

Drake’s ‘Nothing Was the Same’ Debuts On Top Of Billboard 200

Drake is definitely the man of the hour right now.

His latest album, Nothing Was the Same, has landed at number one on the Billboard 200 charts with 658,000 copies in its first week. According to Nielsen SoundScan, this is the second best-selling project of the year, only behind Justin Timberlake’s The 20/20 Experience released in March.

“Nothing Was the Same also gives Drake his personal best week ever,” Billboard reports. “His last album, 2011′s Take Care, started at No. 1 with 631,000. His full-length debut, Thank Me Later, launched with 447,000 at No. 1 in 2010. The year before that, his debut EP, So Far Gone, bowed and peaked at No. 6 with 73,000.”
