Thursday, March 27 The “Father Son Breakfast Tour” kicked off and made a great impression on students and there fathers. This event was created to promote positive relationships between inner city Fathers and their children. This initiative was Created by Positive American Youth (www.PayUsa.org), is hosted by Reec of Hot 107.9 FM and sponsored by Better Homes & Healthcare GA, Morgan & Morgan Law & The Atlanta Hawks.
The event served a large group of fathers a hot breakfast courtesy of Waffle House. These Dad’s were eager to make steps to create stronger ties and lines of communication with there kids. Positive messages on the importance of involvement between parents and there children and the positive affects of being active with their children’s friends, especially those who may not have a father figure at home where also addressed. Six(6) lucky parents won a raffle that included a pair of tickets to see the Atlanta Hawks or take there kids to The Car Show; two great bonding opportunities.
