Early Monday afternoon the world was left speechless when security footage of Solange Knowles attacking Jay Z with combinations of kicks and punches. This attack happened when the trio of Beyonce, Jay Z and Solange were leaving an after party at the Met Gala, once in the elevator Solange attacked the rapper without any warning. While the footage clearly shows Jay Z and Solange exchanging words, the attack was the last thing Jay Z’s mind since the elevator was filled with onlookers
Once the elevators were closed Solange sent a flurry of punches, kicks and wild swings towards Jay Z. Jay Z did his best to hold back the wild and out of control Solange Knowles all whole keeping his cool, a few seconds after sending his hits a bodyguard stepped in to restrain her from further attacking Jay Z.
What makes the video intriguing to the general public is there isn’t any audio to go along with the video and fans of both Jay Z and Beyonce wonder what was said or done leading up to the attacks. Some people suspect that the situation between the two may have happen more often because how calm Beyonce during the altercation. Other ideas of the big blow up with the two that have circulated around the internet is maybe Jay Z had done some harm to Beyonce while at the Gala and Solange came in to save the day. Until some audio is release Twitter and Instagram created their own theories which started the trending topic and hashtag #WhatJayZSaidToSolange
